Concept mock-up for a branding refresh and website redesign for The John Winthrop School for Young Children (JWS).


Enhance user engagement, interaction, and overall user experience which more accurately reflects the joy and colorful nature of the play-based, nurturing pre-school that is JWS.


Delivering a photographic driven concept, our mock-up featured updated information architecture and an intentional layout based on user-desired features. The site guides users to high focus areas through engaging photos, bright color, playful shapes, heartfelt mission statements, with sufficient negative space to breathe.

In addition to an enhanced color palette with vibrant, yet calming colors to strategically organize information, an updated logo concept retained the playful and classic JWS brand aesthetic familiar to the JWS community. This concept enables the JWS mission of fostering the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of young children informative, to shine through and serve it’s user base with an informative, functional, and eye catching website.
